Microsoft Corporation Releases Latest Windows Server
The Microsoft Corporation, an internationally renowned company famous for its development of the Windows Operating System, has just released the Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Standard. This release is the successor to Windows Server 2008 and is also the service version of Windows 8.
The Windows Server 2012 has four editions, one of which is the Windows Server 2012 Standard. This edition contains several features which are not found in previous versions since it is based on the Windows 8 OS. This edition was also redesigned to give owners more power to control their businesses. The user interface was given around 2300 commandlets compared to the older versions which have 200.
There is also a new version of the task manager which is very similar to the task manager in Windows 8. Owners now also have the capability to monitor the IP addresses being accessed by everyone on a certain network. Owners can choose which IP addresses can be accessed and which IP addresses should be blocked. The file system and active directory found in previous versions have also been revamped. A new feature with the Windows Server 2012 Standard is the addition of a Hyper-V system. Hyper-V basically enhances the processing speed of each individual computer by allowing them access to a very large resource pool of information and RAM.
Microsoft Corporation was founded in 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen. They manufacture, license and develop products which are beneficial to the science of computing. They are currently at the top of both the PC and office suites market with their Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products respectively. Aside from these, Microsoft has also developed softwares and also released their own video game consoles.
